About us

Anderson Flooring opened it’s doors on April 13th, 2015. The owner is Matt Anderson, formerly a flooring sales manager at Kerr Rug, Merced,CA, and Builders Flooring, Merced, CA. Matt was born and raised in Modesto, Ca. He served with the United States Navy from 1977 to 1982. He moved to Atwater after his marriage to Kim Walker, a longtime resident of Atwater, in 1984. Matt and Kim have two sons and a daughter, they also have three grandsons and a granddaughter.

The opportunity to open Anderson Flooring has been Matt’s dream for many years,included in that dream is his pledge to give the residents of Atwater and all of Merced County the most affordable flooring with unbeatable customer service.
